This is a lovely costume! But my daughter said she felt uncomfortable wearing, like a bug biting her.

My 8 y/o daughter loved it. She is tall & thin and currently wears a loose 8-9 slim. I ordered a medium. It's not extra big but I did crisscross the ties in back through the straps of the apron so it wouldn't slide off her shoulders. Very well made, not a thin satin type polyester costume, & it ironed well.
